Two Colliders in the Same Object - Mouse Behaviour

I have a gameObject with two colliders, a MeshCollider and a SphereCollider. This object has an AI script called BasidiomycotaAI.cs

My problem is - I have a OnMouseEnter in the AI script but also a OnTriggerEnter. When the player puts the mouse though, it doesn’t call OnMouseEnter because SphereCollider is in the way and is bigger than MeshCollider.

Question is - is there a way for the Mouse raycast to ignore just one collider and not the other? I tried working with layers, but ignoreRaycast will cancel both colliders.

you can parent another object with collider and different layer in your object. and use this new object for your OnMouseEnter is that possible for you situation?
