Two Factor Authentication Not Working

2-step verification not working. I can not access my account.
SMS is not coming. I don’t have a recovery code. Is it a general error? Why am I not receiving SMS? It was coming before.

I am having the same exact issue. Now Im locked out of my account and projects!!!

as soon as I get back in I am turning it off.

For the love of that which is good why dont they have an option to verify through email??!!!

they say to contact them through this. but it says it can be 2 months for a response…

I hope the problem is resolved faster.
This is so annoying.

Has Unity offered any explanation as to why the last two weeks especially have seen multiple Unity services going down for hours at a time?

These are not “explanations” by any stretch of the word.

Interestingly, it allowed me to pass verification with Google. I got rid of my phone number and switched to Google Authenticator.

I have the same problem - except I didn’t turn on 2 factor authentication. I’m not getting a code to my phone number, and I have no recovery code because I didn’t set it up.
I had to set up another email just to log into anything and be able to post. Trying to find anywhere to get support is almost impossible - and then seeing its a 2 months response time? you got to be kidding me. How are we supposed to deliver projects on time? Not cool. Definitely not spending money on Black Friday since I can’t log into my account in the first place.

Same. Even tried resetting password. No email sent for that either.

Still no response other than the “your support request was created” after sending an email to support@unity3d.com
The kicker is to read the support ticket you need to log into your account… which you can’t because of the 2 factor. hahahahahaha - you can’t make this stuff up

However when I browsed the paid section I got an email lickety split wanting to know if I needed help to purchase and to contact support@unity3d.com

Yea so I didnt get to make a black friday purchases because of this.

if you need to get in your projects. Just turn off your internet and open unity hub. then you can turn your internet back on.

Unfortunately i didnt do that on my main work computer and I made another account sign in so its too late for me to fix that.

I got a response from Unity support - and now working through questions so they can turn it off. Still taking a day or so between waiting for responses back from them, but at least its not 2 months. They’re aware of a number of users with the same problem.

You can also go into your projects folder and load an existing scene file which will then open in unity, you won’t have access to the assets you didn’t install already, but at least you can get work done.

Black Friday was always when I made my biggest purchases in the unity store, but this time I went to the individual stores instead like Synty - at least you can still install your assets then.

Still waiting for a response from unity.

Finally got a response from unity. Thank God I didnt have to wait to long.

I appreciate the unity staff doing what they can.
