Typical load time for Addressables.LoadAssetAsync? Any tips to speed it up?

Just wanna ask around about what your typical loading time needed for a call of Addressables.LoadAssetAsync to complete.

My average loading time is 5000 milliseconds to load any asset (one audio that pack separately). What’s yours?

Just wanna if my mine is normal and if there is any space to improve.

5 second to load one audio seem really slow. Is it downloaded?
Normally a local audio should take so little time that you can load it and play it on the same frame synchronously.

@jacky-kschou_1 yeah that’s a lot slower than we’re seeing with Unity 2020.3.15f2 and Addressables 1.18.11.

Are you measuring in a standalone player?

I had a similar issue, the problem was actually loading the asset bundle. I’ve updated Unity from 2019.4.18 to 2019.4.22 and it fixed the loading time but I’m not sure which exact version fixed the asset bundle loading problem.
