Typo? in

On page 9 of Scripting Tutorial it states;

“OnMouseDown()
Code inside here is executed when the mouse hovers over a game object which contains
a GUIElement or a Collider.”

I believe it should read;

“OnMouseDown()
Code inside here is executed when the mouse clicks a game object which contains
a GUIElement or a Collider.”

Thanks for pointing this out. It’s best to file a bug report using the “Report Bug” app for these sorts of things. The reason is we only have a small number of people working on documentation and the chances of them reading every post on the forum is pretty slim.

With a bug report it’s guaranteed to end up in front of their eyes.

Thanks,
Ethan

Can do.
Should I ‘bug report’ this one or can I assume due to your response you know of the Typo?

I’ve seen them mention somewhere that closing a duplicate bug report doesn’t take them much time. But closing a bug report that was never submitted takes forever. (something like that)

I think you should go ahead and submit the report. There is a specific ‘Documentation’ category you can choose when submitting it.
