Nice game, music is great, didnt quite understand the target cross hair that pops up when you fire, i initially tried to shoot it
Amazing update. Are you going to work on this further after the competition?
Geoff, the targeting cursor performs different functions depending on the selected weapon, when using the gun it’s just an indicator to help you aim at targets, when using the sword if you attack while the indicator is red you activate lockon mode which will make you orbit around the enemy like the 3D Zelda games and many action games out there. you can cancel lock on by pressing Q. We want to add an automatic lockon function aswell.
At Soad667, thanks for the support man, we really enjoyed making this game and is very moralizing to hear that people enjoy playing it. We will keep working on it, keep tweaking, keep adding stuff, not sure if everything will make it into cloudwitch per say, maybe we’ll get to a point where we’ll want to make a sequel.
Some of the things planed for the future are:
-Ability to land on surfaces and fight while on your feet.
-missiles and more weapons.
-various powerups such as weapon upgrades, speed upgrade, armor upgrade.
-Add more depth to sword combat.
-more gameplay modes, maybe a linear story.
-multiplayer, this one we really want to make
-Destructable portals and other enemy bases, this was sugested in the beta topic, we really wanted it to make it into this build but didn’t had time to think how it would work.
-A wii version, this one is hard because of the cost involved in getting the license, but we believe this game would kick ass on wii.
As you can see the list can go on and on, we’ll keep the comunity posted on updates.
Thanks again for the support.
Theres a sword???
Guess I need to RTFM hehe
lol, yeah you activate it by pressing 2, 1 for gun 2 for sword.
I liked it better when the player was invincible. How on earth am I supposed to use a sword when this thing comes up and kills me in 2 hits??
The mouse-look needs to be smoother and more sensitive.
Also the crosshair thing is too complex, its distracting.
Cool game though.
