UA 2009: Physis

Physis is a fully physics based marble madness type of game with it’s own unique features. Player takes control of a physics driven “marble” and tries to finish the level as fast as possible in fast-paced, trap filled levels.

Physis is being made by Sarper Şoher(me) and Thomas Varoux.

Just curious, but how many polys are in the track? There has to be quite a few to get all those nice curves.

Thank you. It’s not the only theme, the other theme packs are being worked on and if everything goes as planned, the game will feature high quality and many various scenes.

Sadly, due to funding problems, the progress of the project almost came to a halt. I’m trying to fund it via other freelance jobs.

The track is not a single mesh, but a collection of tileable seamless parts. The most poly expensive part is 946 verts, and it varies between 946 to 52 between parts according to their curves.
