UA 2009: Planetary Predicament

I’m getting started a little late(i.e 2 hours before entry deadline), but the gameplay concept is fairly simple, so I think we’ve got a pretty good shot at finishing this game off in time for Oct. 5th.

Note that I am, in fact, younger than the 18 year old age limit, but the game was submitted to the Unity guys by Nathan(who happens to be older than 18 ), which HiggyB said would be fine. So if something goes wrong here, I can blame him.

Yeah, that playable needs quite a bit of explanation - something I didn’t have time to do as I was submitting the game 20 minutes before deadline.

Progress has been slow over the past two weeks due to schoolwork and other things I’m working on, and the playable is not really very playable. However, in its current state:

W,S to move forward and back
A,D to orbit the sun.

The idea is to get to the sun without blowing up. Winning and losing - there’s no such thing, in fact, there’s not even a GUI yet. Today, I added a planet model with eyes to convey the idea that the planets are indeed malevolent. I will try to get a fun playable up before the end of this week.
