The second of two facilities Cloud Build uses is experiencing some network connectivity issues. This is being worked on now, and all new builds are being sent to the primary environment. In the meantime, a few already-triggered builds may appear “stuck” as this is sorted out - if you see a build waiting marked “sent to builder” for a long period of time it’s likely one of those affected; if it’s cancelled and restarted it will be put back in the queue. If this takes long enough to resolve some new builds might queue in general due to temporarily reduced capacity - more updates to come .
The issue is mostly resolved at this point - there are no queues for new builds, and the last of the pending (“sent to builder”) builds should be starting very shortly. It appears to have been a network issue in one facility preventing Cloud Build’s management systems from reaching a number of hosts, and we’re digging into the exact details now - but there shouldn’t be any further effects on builds.
