[UE5] Local files keep trying to connect to plastic scm workspace that no longer exists.

I need advice on how I can go about refocusing the project to create a new or connect to a new workspace.
Using Unreal engine 5.3

Consider me a complete newbie when it comes to working with plastic scm;
I’m still trying to learn how to properly use Plastic SCM with UE5, but information is hard to come by.
Anyway, I was having trouble updating the current project files to my Plastic SCM workspace.
Figured, well, lets just connect to a new one, I still have all of the local files of my backups anyway and if need be I’ll back them up separately too.

Now my UE5 project seems to be stuck in stasis of trying to find that workspace and am unable to find any method to trying to attach it to a new workspace.
How do I go about having my files avoid being detected by plastic SCM so that these files are not identified as properties affiliated with an existing workspace?

Perhaps ‘Stasis’ is too extreme a word, the project itself is still very much completely functional, but I’m quite reluctant on working on the game until this is resolved

Hi @BigDickRunescaper ,

If you would like to create a new workspace for the existing workspace, the existing one needs to be removed first.
Please make sure to close UVCS(Plastic SCM) and your project and locate the root of your project in File Explorer; make the hidden folder visible; you will see the .plastic folder. Once you delete the .plastic folder, the workspace is removed, and you can create a new workspace in the locate. Please make sure to have a backup before proceeding with anything.
