UI in ARcore (HelloAR example)

Hello I’ve been experimenting with the new ARcore examples but I feel a bit stuck, I have a button in the scene which changes the “andy” model which works just fine however tapping the button registers as a touch and places another model, so my question is how can I get ARcore to not place if the ray hits a certain tag?

Heya @faye921 @Saicopate had the same problem post if (!EventSystem.current.IsPointerOverGameObject(touch.fingerId)) {...} around line 132 to wrap around the raycast.

I have the same problem. Can’t get through this.
Session.Raycast does not take layer filter argument.
I suspect there needs to be some kind of if statement before… any help would be appreciated.
