UI layer shows up in game but not in the editor (Ive clicked somewhere! HELP!)

ok here is the deal!

I disabled something (cant rememeber what) and now text and sprites on the UI layer doesnt show up in the editor! They work fine when I run the game!

All layers are on!

I am having the same issue with current patched version of Unity 5 (5.0.1p4) may 8th download.

I have 5.0.1p4 as well!
Is it a bug brought on by the patch maybe?

Yep. Everything was working fine before I upgraded.

We are seeing the same thing with 5.0.1p4. It rendered in the Scene tab of the Editor in 5.0.1p3. Mac and Windows both exhibit problem.
