UI Mask, find solution by script?

Hi everybody!
I’m discovering the Sprite Mask for the first time today ; and i would like to know if this is normal that when i want to use a image with alpha, the mask just do a simple circle ? there is no transition between the circle and the full black
I had already try to change the parameter “Alpha Cut-off”, but it’s only make the circle bigger/Smaller…

There is a other way by script to do that?
I know that i can have the same result with other solution, just with photoshop( like i show in the 2nd picture, but it’s not really for do that, just for explain^^)

Sprite Mask does not support smooth transitions, according to this post.

Feathered/Soft Sprite Mask

Hi, I've just tried out the new Sprite Mask and loved it's easy workflow. However I couldn't seem to make it do a nice feathered mask? Is this possible? We currently use a plugin which can do this and is useful for highlighting in tutorials e.g a feathered hole on a black plane we can move and scale up and down to highlight an area of interest. It would be nice if we can use the Sprite Mask instead to create the feathered mask

I have already found this solution, but it’s not a good way for me… i need to put some mask to another… and it create a Black area…
