Update 1.4 has hit the Asset Store and is our best update yet! Go get it!
*With the new 1.4 update we’ve added 3 new candles all behaving and moving much more realistic (Similar to Skyrim). Candles now sway and flicker more than before so they look great both close and far.
*1.4 Updated the FAQ and documentation with even more helpful tips to get the best out of your effects and explains how to adjust everything.
Light effects are a great way to add effects to your games. These light effects look great at no cost to performance. Effects use a billboarding script to give a 3d looking HD light effect such as candle glows, light shafts beams, glows, and glares.
Also included are 4 particle candle flames which use only a few draw calls but give you realistic moving and glowing candle flames.
Everything can be used with the free version of Unity
What’s included:
• 7 Different Candle Particle Flames
• 4 Different Light Beam Effects (Colors can be altered to any color the buyer wants)
• 7 Different Light Glares Glows (Colors can be altered to any color the buyer wants)
• 2 Candle Glows
• Both of the scenes shown
• 8 table top models (books, plates, bowls, and food models) for you to use for your games.
• Very detailed Help and FAQ document for the light effetcs which tells you how adjust everything or tweak the settings to your liking.
the prize is way too much also i don’t see anything that worth money actually .
everything is too easy to make , why buy it ?
im sorry if you don’t like my post but i just want you improve it maybe i will buy it
Anyone can make any product, but people with that specific skill make certain products and sell them that’s just how the market works.
It is worth buying because my old light effects pack was quite popular but it lacked a lot of stuff. So, instead of doing a new version I redid everything from the ground up and made a new product. These light effects are very similar to the ones used in Oblivion so why would they not be useful?
You get light shaft effects, glares, glows, and candle particles. All which use virtually no draw calls or effect frame rate. If the AAA game industries use them, then I say they’re worth buying
I do agree with the price though and I will lower it. What do you think about $20? Considering my old light effects pack is $10
The package cost is certainly within price range of the other packs found on the store and there is good value for the money here, I especially like the candle flames and shaders and scripts that accompany it, The effect bring’s the scene’s alive with flicker glow and is hard to pass on this pack.
plus the added extra model assets, the light beams and you can hardly complain about the cost.
There’s an update (Version 1.2) coming in a day or two with more table top models like plates, bowls, books, and more. Plus a detailed FAQ document that tells you how to do and adjust everything. Be sure to get it.
Yeah, sorry about that…It’s not too bad though because it’s going back up to $25 so you really only missed out on $5. And you can get the update all you have to do is download it through the Asset Store.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to customer concerns and then act on that and improve the product, so looking forward to the update and seeing it in my projects.
I want my products to be the best they can be and listening to customer suggestions and feedback is a great way to get an idea of how to do so. I’ve also added a link in the FAQ so you, and everyone else, can have any questions answered and any problems taken care of directly through us.
