I have not been able to access Asset Store. When I look at Editor.log file, I see the following messages
Your credentials could not be authenticated: “Credentials are missing.”. You will not be permitted access until your credentials can be verified.
This is typically caused by an incorrect username and/or password, but could also be caused by network problems.
Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/
If this is due to a port block, I would like to know which port needs to be open for the communication.
Anyone have a solution for this, or is it just intermittent? I ran into an error when reactivating Unity after upgrading to 4.3.1, so I did the manual activation process. However, now when I go to the asset store window I get this: “Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/”. However, I can access the URL fine through Internet Explorer, for example, and browse the store without issue. I’ve tried adding an exception for the entire Unity folder on my antivirus but no go. Thanks for anyone’s time taken to answer :)!
Edit: Apparently NOD32 was blocking it automatically unless I disabled HTTPS filtering, even with “disable all protection” activated. Problem solved.
I notice the issue has frequently happened before with other users.
Just downleaded Unity in the last few weeks.
Cannot access Asset store. Says I am offline
Visit Asset store online and push Open in Unity button for any Assett. Asset window opens in Unity with offline message and in status bar at bottom of app it says:
Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/
I’ve switched Antivirus and Firewall off.
I have no Proxy as I am running from my laptop at home.
I can access the kharma site but the asset window always shows me offline.
Edited…
Despite Firewall and Antivirus being off, other restrictions were still in place.
In ESET Anti-Virus/Security
Either
(1) In Web Access Protection, HTTP/HTTPS,
Unticked Enable HTTP Checking …or
(2) Protocol Filtering
Under the window, Applications excluded from Protocol filtering,
Ticked the boxes for programs in the Programs/x86/Unity folder.
(1) Worked and then I just tried (2) by itself and that worked without (1) needing to be done.
Hi. I think the asset store is down again. I have been unable to access it for the past two days. Is anyone else currently experiencing the same problem?
