Unable to codesign Unity app on OS X Yosemite

Hi,

I’m getting the following error when attempting to codesign on OSX Yosemite:

main executable failed strict validation

This is after receiving an error that the Contents/MacOS/myapp.ldr file was not codesigned at all and then trying to codesign it.

Regarding this error, the Apple site says:

  • You may be using a third party development product that hasn’t been brought up to date, or post-processed your file in unsupported ways.

Any ideas on why this may be happening? I’ve successfully codesigned many apps in the past, but not on Yosemite. Please note this is codesigning for distribution on our own website, not on the Mac App Store (the Mac App Store codesigning was successful).
