Unable to import 2019 version of Rewired. Have tried everything.

Hello, I’m trying to import the store asset “Rewired” into Unity 2019.4.12f1. At this point I’m not sure if the issue lies with Unity or Rewired. In the Rewired documentation, they blame Unity for this.

I have deleted all of my downloaded assets in C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Unity\Asset Store-5.x

I deleted all of my Unity versions along with reinstalling Unity Hub.

Then, after repeating the process with various versions of Unity 2019.4 (downloading Rewired again through the editor each time and then importing), I still get this error: “Rewired: The version of Rewired installed (1.1.36.1.U2020) was not designed for Unity 2019. Please install Rewired for Unity 2019.”

This might not cause problems, but I’m not going to bet hours of potential headache on “might not.”

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is this an issue on Rewired’s end? They don’t seem to think so.

you can download the individual versions from the rewired home page though
you’ll need your invoice id and email adress though

Thanks, didn’t know they had this. Just sent an email asking for a Guavaman account to enable the downloads. A bit of a pain, but if it works then I’ll be happy haha.
