Unable to log in from Unity Editor, despite being logged in on Unity Hub

I’m trying to download assets from the asset store, but they won’t show up in my package manager. I suspect it’s because I’m not signed, so I’ve tried signing in from Unity Editor (both 6000.0.31f1 and 2021.3.20f1) but I keep getting the following error message and am prompted to install Unity Hub:

“Install Unity Hub
You must install the Unity Hub to sign in and use Unity services.”

I already have Unity hub installed! And I am signed in, both there and online. What is going on, I’m losing my mind!

Happened to me because I installed chrome 2 days ago, just deleted it reopen the hub and the login issue is fixed for me, I think editor can’t decide what browser to use to sign in, so it auto responds install the unity hub message
