Unable to make State transitions in Animator

When I open my animator and right click the any state to create a transition to a new animation state the option to create a transition does’t display. The only options that are presented are Create State, Create Sub-State Machine and Copy current StateMachine. These are also the options that display when I click in the spaces between the states.

Exact same issue for me on Ubuntu 14.04. It seems that the problem is that the right click is not propagating to the animation states and instead Unity just treats everything as the default right click for the Animator window (no matter where you click). Thanks so much for everything Unity team!

Same issue here, 14.04

Considering the issue reported in this other thread: Mouse selection stuff offsetted by menubar?

Have any of you tried right-clicking just above/below the States that you’re trying to make transitions from, just in case it’s a similar offsetting problem in this case?

Doesn’t appear to be offsetting, clicking above/below gives the same result.

Not sure if it’s related, but I’m also having trouble adding behaviours to blend-trees in the animator. No scripts in the add behavior button, no keypresses register when I try to create a new one. If I force it by pasting into the field (with the mouse context menu), the script never executes on play, and disappears from the state shortly afterwards.

It’s not related to mouse offsetting - we’ve found the cause of the issue, and it will be fixed in the next build.

What’s the build cycle for this project?

Same bug.

Unity3D: 5.1.0f3 Personal

uname -a:
Linux PRECISION-DEB 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt20-1+deb8u2 (2016-01-02) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Ingvord there is newer version of Unity 5.1.1f1 to download at the bottom of this thread:
http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-on-linux-release-notes-and-known-issues.350256/

As Linux Unity Editor is still treated as beta please always check if bug persist in newest version.

I confirm the problem persists on 5.3.1f1 :frowning:

I can’t reproduce this on the 2016010601 (5.3.1f1) build - can you provide more information?
