Unable to run a MacOS build with unicode product name

Hey,

I recently had a request to build a game for MacOSX with a product name “III a. kepurėlė iš Dauglaukio” that contains unicode characters. I am using Unity for Windows to build the project. Unfortunately after building and trying in on a mac, it shows an error that this product in not supported on a current platform. I tried using the product name without the unicode chars and the game launched perfectly.

Since the client specifically requested using proper language I have no other choice but to solve this problem somehow.

I tried messing with the package contents and changing values in plist files, but no success whatsoever :roll:

If there is any way to change the name manually or to build the project correctly, I would be be really greatfull for some help :slight_smile:

I’m using Unity Pro 2.6.1f3 for Windows.
I’m using Windows Vista.
The mac I tested had 10.5.6 OS.

Have you tried setting the system to use the native language? From what you describe, it sounds like a system error rather than a Unity build error.
