Unable to successfully upload to Asset Store

Hey guys,
I am going to give this one more go as I truely enjoy working with Unity, however for about 3 weeks now I have been trying to get an answer as to why this is not working. The problem I am having is after I make my project validated by the package manager, and hit submit it simply says confirming and then pops up the publisher description page. After filling this out and accepting terms i hit done and it goes back immediatelly to saying package validated. Now I am logged into the asset store the entire time I setup the project and at the top it still tells me to log in to access account settings… I have sent about 6 emailes to support teams at Unity and even called them a few times and have still not gotten a clear response as to why this is…

I have also tryed everything i could think of from completely redownloading and installing a fresh Unity and asset store tools, I have tryed this on about 3 different computers and 3 different Internet connections, I have tryed it aswell with no anti virus or firewalls active…still nothing has worked…

If anyone could please give me any insight on why this is not working I would be very grateful, or if your having the same problem please tell me so we can try to solve it together… Again i now have 2 projects complete and waiting to be submitted but i have been dealing with this situation for over 3 weeks now…

Thanks for your time!

You don’t have message Pending review by Unity after submitting ?

once you have created your account settings. You’re not to do it again for each submission unless you want to change some informations. once your package is validated ( by the asset store tools in your project you want to submit ) you have to click submitt button. Sorry maybe there’s something i’m missing in your problem. Hope it helped …

@ draad there is not a message stating that its pending review it simply goes back to saying Package Validated

@ rosor it asks me to put my account settings in each time i try to submit, its filled out but i must accept terms again… after doing this is just goes back to saying package validated

Are you sure you don’t cancel upload by closing some windows or something? You have no error message ?

@ draad I dont hit anything after hitting submit and accepting terms and there are no error messages

Hi there, sorry to hear about the trouble. Would you contact me by email (caitlyn@unity3d.com) and we’ll sort you out as soon as possible.

Cheers

Caitlyn

Thanks for the response Caitlyn, I have sent an email to that address and thanks for helping =D

@ Caitlyn I am still waiting on a response to the email, if you could please give me a heads up to if you may not have recieved it, or have not gotten to it yet I would greatly appreciate it, If your very busy i apologize, im just trying to be sure it made it in your inbox.

Thanks again

Hi again, would you mind resending it and mentioning your forum name in the subject line? I might have received it, but I didn’t have a forum name to connect it to, so quite possibly it was someone else with a similar problem.

Hi, Caitlyn. I have the same problem like univtydev0008. Can you help me? I have sent you my letter from aevien@hotmail.com

Hi Caitlyn, I’ve emailed you about this problem previously also. It seems like a fair few of us are having the same problem. It’s really holding alot of us back from getting up and running on the asset store.

Cheers for replying to this thread.

Hi All,

Caitlyn pointed me towards this thread and I’ll see if we can get this issue resolved. First of all please delete the AssetStoreTools folder in your project and download the newest version from asset store. A new version of the tool with some fixes was released today (and it is not an aprils fool joke).

If you can still not get it to work then we’ll take it from there.

Hey jdrewsen!

Thanks a ton this helped and my assets successfully uploaded! Thanks again for your time and effort to all those at Unity!

Worked for me too! Thank you very much.

So, from what I can tell… The problem was for people who didn’t enter a URL on the publisher page? We just didn’t get an error message until now? That’s mildly amusing if that was the problem.

Thanks alot Caitlyn and jdrewsen!

Yea thats the same problem I was having tanka, it was right under our nose all along if that was it…I tryed everything I could think of lol…Just glad it got sorted out finally as I lost all hope until this post =D
