Hi there!
I’m looking at the asset management through the Cloud.
I added a dataset (AR-Source), it correctly shows on the web
But I’m not able to see the dataset in the asset manager plugins in the Unity editor.
Is that an expected behaviour for now?
Or maybe there’s a setting to enable somewhere?
I wasn’t able to find anything in the documentation about it.
Thanks.
Hello Kilian,
First of all, I apologize for the delayed response. Unfortunately, we missed this post as it was tagged with the Unity Engine label, and it wasn’t routed to the appropriate team.
Regarding your question: At the moment, the Asset Manager for Unity Editor does not support accessing datasets other than the source one.
That said, adding support for this use case is on our roadmap. We’re planning to introduce Asset Reference type “Variants” to facilitate asset discovery and make workflows more flexible.
For now, I recommend creating a separate asset for the iPhone and using tags or metadata to organize and locate it more easily.
We’d love the opportunity to connect with you to better understand how you’re leveraging the Asset Manager and to share some of our upcoming plans. Your early feedback would be incredibly valuable to us.

Hello Basile,
Thank you very much for your answer.
That’s good to know that it is on your roadmap, I can’t wait to test future features.
We’ll explore it further with my team and we’ll let you know what’s our feedbacks. Right now we see great advantages to Cloud Assets management but still trying to figure how we can implement that in our work pipeline effectively.
