**[UPDATE]**New build online - changelog at the bottom of this post! Please play it and share your thoughts.
Unbalanced began as me testing a few of the physics systems and slowly evolved into a simple game. This is my first prototype, so any and all criticism is welcome.
Controls:
Left Arrow - Increase Wind Speed West
Right Arrow - Increase Wind Speed East
Premise/Object
The object of the game is get a high score by collecting pickups and balancing all of the blocks on a single platform.
Notes:
Pickups are worth 500 points each, while letting a block fall off the platform will cost you 50 points. If your blocks are getting too high to control, you are equipped with the ability to rain “fire blocks” down from the sky that will eat away at some of the stack.
Changelog
[Feb 5]
Added: Fire Block pickup
Added: Points Pickup texture and particle emitter
Added: Lighting effect when raining fire blocks
Changed: Platform now tilts in relation to weight on either side
Removed: Background image’s static clouds
Fixed: Too many bugs to count…

I liked that!
Needs the ability to get more fire, and maybe better aim system than wind, but still really good!
@Dakta - First, I am glad you liked it, I feared it wouldn’t be much fun :). Additional fire blocks are going to be a pickup similar to the points pickup. Also, I am not 100% happy with the controls either. Simply moving the block would be too easy, but the wind does seem a bit hard. I will sleep on it, but if anyone has any suggestions, bring 'em on!
I would make the platform a little narrower, and put a hinge of sorts in the middle, so as your blocks are more to one side the platform tilts. Good start, don’t give up!
Thanks for the replies. Working on these suggestions now. Should have another demo up soon.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I started a development blog for this project to hopefully get some more feedback/ideas. If you haven’t already, please check the game out and let me know what you think and what improvements you would like to see. (as I have hit a complete creativity block).
Thanks!
Guys does anyone know if the developer of unbalanced is using the inbuilt wind in unity to control his game? I asked a question on this before but am still a bit lost, as in the rain that controls grass for example, I am looking to be able to control this in my game and it seems as though this game is using exactly what i need, any ideas?
