No. You'd need to use a native plugin to do it

Well just by looking at the Input class members Input.GetAxis Input.GetAxisRaw Input.GetButton Input.GetButtonDown Input.GetButtonUp Input.GetKey Input.GetKeyDown Input.GetKeyUp

I don't see any Input.ReadKeyFromBuffer function so i'm going to have to vote: unbuffered.

And considering that buffered input is more for like, entering text in a gui screen, or a fighting game, they would probably want you to code your own buffer for that.
