Understanding access tokens and service tokens

Hi all, I was testing out my backend UGS Cloud-Code and ran into this case.

It seems when I try to get settings from remote config with a service token, there is a script error and http 422 exception. I’ve eliminated all other variables and it is only this, whereas it works with an access token. To my understanding a service token can do everything an access token can, and more. So I am confused if my understanding is misguided.

Can sb help me with this?

Please check out the token support section for either JS or C# modules depending on which you’re working with:

Unfortunately Remote Config does not support the cloud-code service token at this time, but it does have another endpoint Unity Services Web API docs which can also get user settings and doesn’t require the accessToken
