Understanding Licensing when Utilizing Assets

Where is a good place to ask license questions?

Let me tell you specifically one thing I want to do, but I’m not sure if it’s allowed under licensing terms or not. Seems like it should be, but I’m looking for more information.

While I want to mostly use all my own assets, there are a couple of free assets on the asset store that I would like to partially utilize.

Example: Flooded Grounds.
License: Extension Asset.

Extension Asset reads: One license required for each individual user.

Though that would seem to be more relevant on non-free assets.

What I would like to do with this one is just lift out the grass and rocks only for an outdoor scene in my own work. Would this be acceptable use?

From the FAQ:
Can I use assets commercially?
Yes . As long as the asset is embedded and integrated into your game (or other digital product) and you have obtained the appropriate number of licenses, commercial use and noncommercial use are both fine.

On the surface, it seems I should be allowed to do this, but have I missed some fine print somewhere? This is serious business and I don’t want to violate any licensing terms.

If you only want to use the grass and rocks of the asset in question, then go ahead and do it. The license doesn’t restrict you in that regard.
