Hi all,

I’m currently working on a system to handle streaming assets and DLC from our webserver and have recently been encountering the error in the title before trying to play in the editor, more specifically:

> [@](#):
>
> Internal compiler error. See the console log for more information. output was:
> Unhandled Exception: System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: The classes in the module cannot be loaded.
> at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.Reflection.Assembly:GetTypes (bool)
> at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes () [0x00000] in :0
> at Mono.CSharp.RootNamespace.ComputeNamespaces (System.Reflection.Assembly assembly, System.Type extensionType) [0x00000] in :0
> at Mono.CSharp.RootNamespace.ComputeNamespace (Mono.CSharp.CompilerContext ctx, System.Type extensionType) [0x00000] in :0
> at Mono.CSharp.GlobalRootNamespace.ComputeNamespaces (Mono.CSharp.CompilerContext ctx) [0x00000] in :0
> at Mono.CSharp.Driver.LoadReferences () [0x00000] in :0
> at Mono.CSharp.Driver.Compile () [0x00000] in :0
> at Mono.CSharp.Driver.Main (System.String[ ] args) [0x00000] in :0

This error is not specifically associated with any particular part of the script I am working on and the only way I have found to bypass it is by deleting my local project and getting the latest version from our source control (I have tried backing out my changes, restarting my Unity program, restarting the computer entirely, etc to no avail). I have never experienced this error until I started working with asset bundles and reading/writing custom files to the project directory, but I have reproduced it twice today (no specific steps available unfortunately).

Has anyone encountered this error before under similar conditions or have any pro tips for resolving it without eating a good chunk of my work day?

Thanks for your time,
Matt

Bump.

I have put this on the the back burner lately so I don’t have much to add other than this occurs on the Mac version of Unity 3.4.0f5 (iOS Pro)
