Unify Community hacked?

Site down : http://www.unifycommunity.com/ :frowning:

Jp

Yes, the title of the pages was changed and I guess they were also hosting some crap in some useless folder like they did in mine. Retards.

when is it going to be up again?

“This may take quite some time. Please bear with us.”

Probably this is a dumb question, but why someone should hack the Unify server?

Why would they hack a personal blog with 20 visits a day? They are retarded and use the free hosting to promote stuff like knock-off bags and shoes… The hacked site works normally, they are just parasites, once you remove them they move along.

Script kiddies.

Kids that go to hacker forums, grab some script some true hacker spent weeks or months developing, and attack every webpage they can using the script they didn’t create. They then brag about their uber hacking skills among their hacking friends.

Good hackers don’t brag about their exploits. You can always tell the wannabes from the good ones. Wanna know how? It’s only the wannabe hackers that ever get caught.

I think I’ll make a game, call Grand Theft Web Site. You use your uber skills and super powers to track down punk hackers who hack yours (and others) sites.
When you find them, you get points for doing extreme things to them! Like
Extreme hacker skydiving - skydiving without a parachute. Try to land your hacker in certain parking lots.
Extreme hacker rock climbing…without a safety line, while others are shooting arrows at the hacker. Extra points depending on how many bounces on the way down.

DLC packs with more punishments will make tons$$$
Who’se with me?

Lol, this is what I first thought.,

OH man, we gotta get all this crazy shit top secret information on deferred rendering man!

hope it gets fixed up though :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahaha, yup, that or maybe Unify is hiding something from us, and they’re really working for the CIA XD

Just like there is always that one guy in MMORPGs that you know must be hacking but can never work out how he did it :frowning: i have broken many a client trying to hack games… and what do i have ro show for it? Mixed up animations to make it look like i can fly and then my fiend leaks the secrate grrrrr

They’ve hidden the roadmap for Unity 4.0 :X

So Unity is a frontier for distributing games in the CIA game-room? Makes sense, those federal agents needed their daily fix of mindless gaming from all the terrorism, crime, and facist dictators that need be brought down.

Sure, from that and from all the crime and fascist dictators they brought up. Hey, but I’m saying this humorously: it would be plain dumb to change this post in a political debate about CIA

Lol’d

very true even more real these days as there can be jail time for hacking. so real hackers dont hack just random crap sites, they aim for things that get noticed IE Yahoo. I remember when they said it was a teenager in canada that brought yahoo down for 3 days i was like wow thats some brains there. yet we get either wanabee hackers or sites tring to bring the competition down in some random way with some bot they created thats randomly attacking people. either way its sad that we have people out there doing this these days when there is much better use of talent if they have it, like preventing the hacking.

This thread reminds me of a problem still present on the Empower Your Content through Our Community Platforms | Unity. The link for wiki is borked, pointing to a php page responsible for redirecting you. The author states in his code in the page that is strange to see his comment, but in fact is very normal when you do redirect in php and the server does not recognize php files. Maybe he should use html redirect instead, is more universal.

As for hacking the unifycommunity, i don’t think posting spam on a wiki site give you any credit as hacker.

I’m browsing on my phone and have an app to see the source code of websites. It’s actually a quite funny message.

? What you mean? You don’t see the source code for websites in most cases. Just like when we browse this thread, we only see the output.

I found that people hacking sites like this can be many things, sometimes it’s for user database and other time it’s because of kids. In this case it’s quite a rare thing, I don’t see many of these:
“Loan Credit Cards, Loan Payment Calculators @@ Save 32%”
Although, sometimes people do this just for giggles. Who knows, although in most cases alot of websites are hacked and people don’t find out till months later. Popular websites right now have shells on them with no one knowing.

This was probably a MySQL attack to be honest, it’s very easy to find them and also exploit them. It’s more than likely they have the email accounts registered and you will also receive spam mail soon about Viagra ads( haha). Oh wait, I’m on there to…argh.
