I think it has a lot of potential. In about 2 minutes I created an obese character, hit the subdivide modifier a couple times and the result was excellent. When I get a chance I’ll try to build a normal map and texture it to see how it looks. Apparently the model comes already rigged, but I haven’t tried that.
I didn’t download yet, but it looks like he did things with shape keys from what others have posted. Would it still work all fine and dandy in unity?? I haven’t used shape keys yet.
Well the mesh imports OK. I subdivided the mesh once before exporting as a .FBX and then imported to Unity 2.5.1. I exported as an .FBX so I could see what the raw export looked like. I haven’t tried animating or texturing it yet.
Can someone create normal male and if possible a female and upload the fbx for me? I don’t want to get blender just for this.

You can/should have long ago just downloaded Blender and done it yourself. It’s free and from the above looks easy. “And still” you’ve not done the work yourself?
