Has anybody tried submitting a game to Union? It sounds like a great idea, but I’ve tried submitting twice and had no response.
I haven’t tried it! But it does sound like a great idea. Not sure if there’s a quality check or something, but they should at least respond to let you know if your game needs more work, or something.
I’ve tried emailing the suggested union@unity3d.com, but still no response. Just vapourware then?
No not just vapourware.
But they have had 1000+ requests and it takes a month or two to port a game to a platform.
also its the platform owners decision which games they want, its not that you requesting it will get you there unless your game has a solid success track on iOS and android I guess
I didn’t realise that they’d had so many requests. How did you find out that figure? Regardless, it would be nice to just get some acknowledgement even if negative.
Because every chimp and his uncle wants their shovelware title with bad graphics and dodgy playability on it. I’m not being elitist, its just realistic.
Someone mentioned it some weeks ago.
And its to be expected, there are over 1000 unity games on iOS alone already and naturally most hope to grab a piece of the pie on the “gaming near dead” platforms from RIM and HP too
