Unique Mecanim Animations issues

Hey all!

I imported my own animations from 3ds max and hooked them up in Mecanim - but they seem to run in place and not forward in space. When I change it to the default mecanim animations the character moves through the environment with no issues. This means there are no issues with my control script but with my animations themselves. They ‘play’ just fine - but without any successful transform.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I had that problem and it seemed that I had to find only run animations that actual move forward and not in place. I hope we can get a definite solution.

So you actually have to animate it moving forward in the 3d Software? hmmm…
