UniStorm Toon - Dynamic Toony Day Night Weather System for Both Mobile and Desktop

What is UniStorm Toon?

UniStorm Toon is a completely new dynamic day and night weather system to suit the toon genre for games and apps. We realized that there was an absence of toon weather system suitable for toon style games so we decided to make UniStorm Toon.

UniStorm Toon features new toony weather types, shaders, textures, and features, as well as a new horizon system. UniStorm Toon was inspired by Zelda : The Wind Waker.

How is UniStorm Toon Different than the Regular UniStorm?

UniStorm Toon is a completely new system to that of the regular UniStorm. The two feature completely different programming, shaders, textures, features, and weather types. Having the two systems in one package or system would be too difficult and confusing. UniStorm Toon will also support both Desktop and Mobile.

UniStorm 1.7 (Regular UniStorm) will still be fully supported as well as UniStorm Mobile. This is simply another system which will contains its own features suited towards toony genres. UniStorm and UniStorm Mobile will also have their features suited more towards their realistic genres.

Supporting Platforms

Mobile (IOS, Android, ect)
Desktop Webplayer

Price Release Date

UniStorm Toon will be finished within the month of December. We will use this time to get feedback, feature requests, and suggestions prior to release.

interesting and it would be nice to have one

but honestly it does not look toony enough

try different sun / moon / stars / clouds, etc models / textures

also anything like rain and snow, and like wind storms?

Thank you for the feedback.

How would suggest they be more toony? The moon, sun, and stars are still being worked on being retextured. We will have 8 new cartoony moon phases.

Yes, rain and snow will be on the list, but so will wind as a weather type. If you have ever played Zelda Wind Waker the wind weather type it comparable to that.

If you, or anyone else, has ideas for toony weather types we’ll gladly take suggestions.

and you missed the opportunity to name it Toonistorm.

Is this project dead now? I really like the look and I think it’s even better than the Wind Waker clouds. Do you mind sharing some hints on how you did it?
