Unite '09 Tickets are on sale now!

We’re excited to announce that Unite '09 tickets are now on sale via our online store:

https://store.unity3d.com/shop/unite

There are two options this year, the first is to attend the three day conference as we’ve had it before and that costs $350. Then on top of that there are two additions: the first is a free “bootcamp” day for Flash developers transitioning to Unity, the other is a day of more advanced topics for existing Unity users that costs an extra $150. The classes you’ll pay for are longer 2-hour proper classes with limited seating so you’re guaranteed to get a great value for your money!

Post up if you have any questions, otherwise go buy your tickets and we’ll see you in San Francisco!

Yeeeeha! Got my tickets!

2nd

Oh my god what is it with people and their huge picture postings?! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yepp, got mine too with extra classroom day. Yay!!

Hey Tom!

When is the advanced day taking place? Cant seem to find that info

/Thomas

840 pixels wide is acceptable Emil.

Blown out 1280x960 type stuff (or larger), not so much…

Finally, just purchased my tickets with classes, can’t wait.

Tuesday, October 27th: Day of classes
Wed-Fri, October 28-30th: Tech Session Days

So the Flash “boot camp” and days of classes are taking place on the same day? What are the times each of those are taking place as when ordering, you can order both even tho the description makes it seem like the Flash “boot camp” is a full day event.

One question: How does it work at the entrace of Fort Mason? Will the printed-out ticket from the Unity store be enough to get in?

Hey, exactly 1 month and 10 days until the 27th!

The Fort Mason Center is a huge location and we’re only using two small parts of it. So you’ll be able to walk in to the general facility with ease, no tickets no nothing (there are restaurants, art galleries and other businesses in there as well). To get into the Conference Center and/or the Cowell Theater, the facilities we’re using, you’ll need to register with us and get a name tag/badge that will be your ticket in/out.

Flash boot camp and classes happen at the same time, so you can only select one of the two. (Selecting the second option should automatically deselect the first one.)

How advanced is advanced?
What prior knowledge do you need? Can you give me some subjects/concepts you need to know?

Also will there be any slides/video/files available after Unite of these classroom days or only of the 3day conference?

Think of the Unity classes as “mid-level and higher” focused. If you’re new to Unity then they won’t have as much value as if you’re already somewhat comfortable with it. Super high-end users and noob users will get the least, mid-level users the most.

We plan on recording and posting all session videos and materials except the Road Map Wish List discussion which occurs on Thursday morning (that is a perk for attendees only). Oh, and we definitely plan on being faster in the posting of those videos… :stuck_out_tongue:

Ok, yea, it does do that. I was just thrown off by them being checkboxes instead of radio buttons.

Plane (KLM), hotel (TravelLodge By The Bay) and 3 day conference plus bootcamp are booked!
We arrive on Saterday 24th and leave on Saterday 31th . Here we come

Just bought my ticket. Extra class day too! Now to get everything else in line. I’ll see you guys there!

Just booked my ticket. Looking forward to it!

Is there a limit to the amount of attendees / do you expect to sell out? In other words, should I rush to buy a ticket or can I wait a couple weeks?
