Has anyone heard whether or not there is going to be a Unite conference for 2014 - I’ve searched high and low and found nothing on this.
There will be a number of Unites, just like in 2013. If you actually want to know the locations and dates, well, I’ve not heard those, yet.

Nope, when we announce dates and locations we’ll let you know through the usual channels. ( Website, social media, newsletters here)
Make sure you have an east coast one! Perferbably New York! So add that to the list

Yeah, if these are going to start happening at similar times to last year - Nordic Game is in May, so if there’s going to be a Unite Nordic like last year then we’ve only got a couple of months to book flights and stuff…

I really would like more of an advance notice as this stuff can take me a while to prepare for. Even if a venue isn’t booked knowing the city and rough times would help a lot.
I’d be pretty surprised if at least some venues aren’t booked, as Unite is getting big and big venues usually have to be booked quite a while in advance. GDC book the Moscone about 5 years ahead, and announce the dates for the following year’s GDC pretty much as soon as the previous one has finished.
So yeah, I’d wager they already know exactly where and when (some) of the Unites this year will be happening… they’re just not telling us yet…
