Any info on if there will be a Unite 2020 in the US?

Sadly, I do not think so. 
We loved Unite in Austin but it seems they are staying out of the US now.
Yeah, I remember they were saying something like that along lines.
Well that’s too bad if that’s the case. Would love to hear from someone from Unity as to why.
We were at a Unity sponsored event in NYC last year and asked the Unity people there. They kind of skirted around the question. I would not be surprised if it had something to do with the difficulties of many to get visa’s these days. That is my guess…btw, not anything official.
Very sad. A bit too expensive for our team to travel to Europe so we will miss out on seeing our Unity friends in person again this year.
The experience was so amazing…I wish everyone could go to Unite at least once. It was especially wonderful for our young adult kids who are members of our team and are already making their own games with Unity.

Wouldn’t surprise me. A bunch of game devs have gone public with being denied visas at the last minute over the last few years. For a while Unity itself got quite political on the immigration and visa front.
If you are going to hold an international conference, you need internationals to be able to attend. Arbitrarily closing the doors is bad for business.
That said, its still early in the year. Its not unusual for these events to be announced later.

They hosted it in Vancouver a few years back. Was one of my favorite locations for Unite.

Y’all are thinking too small.
Toronto would be fabulous and not far from me!! I hope they consider it in the future. I have a dear friend there and it would be fun to visit. 
Everyone contact Unity and suggest Toronto.

I’m just hoping for my local Unite to be brought back to Melbourne instead of Sydney.
