Unite conference - Unity in the Wild

This is a total shot in the dark and hopefully not in the wrong forum… I am wondering if anyone here went to the Unity in the Wild session at the Unite conference this past week, and could they give a summary of what happened? A lot of us had flights to catch at 16.00-ish and very unfortunately missed the session.

Alternatively, does anyone know where the video for the session is? I know they were recording all the sessions but I haven’t found anything on the conference website saying they’ll publicly post the video.

Again, slim chance that anyone who sees this was there, but just in case…

TIA!

Videos of the conference will eventually be made available (although I guess that word “eventually” doesn’t sound too good if you are keen to see the session  ).

Was there. Mainly examples of where Unity was used by non-programmers, e.g. a ‘skydive’ team that made a game about their “hobby”, it was some different kind of skydiving though… This must’ve been on the forums.

After +/- 45 minutes of Matthews examples there were four talks of teams with various usages of Unity. A university showing their 180 degree display setup, Mixamo showing their dragon flying game (didn’t work on stage though :frowning: ), someone talking about his dome setup in NY. I forgot the fourth talk…

I hope everyone had a good time, I wanted to go to this one but it come up on me too quick. And, blushes truthfully, I think I would be a little shy an older lady in a crowd of many young men

A bit late back to this thread.

@Leepo, thanks! Much appreciated. I was hoping the education guy in the red hat would show up and talk about it being used in University non-game-design arena, but apparently that wasn’t to be.

@andeeee, was that a tease I detected? Let’s try to get “eventually” moved up to “TBA” (or maybe even “Coming Soon”, that would be exciting)

@Merries, no worries, you should come next time - there were a number of us older folks amongst the 20-something guys. It was easy to pick us out because we were the only ones wearing collared shirts
