Unity 2.0.1 Released - Leopard Compatibility

Unity 2.0.1 has just been released! This update addresses a few problems introduced by the recent release of Apple’s new Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard” operating system. Additionally the release contains some necessary documentation updates that enhance the documentation for both pre-existing and new features introduced with the initial Unity 2.0 release.

So go download the update today!

Unity Update

Note: this is an editor-only update.

Amazing, thanks

Are there any release notes what has been fixed exactly?

  • Fixed editor crash on Leopard whenever color property was in the Inspector
  • Fixed ‘f’ key to focus not working on Leopard
  • Fixed Layer popup in GameObject inspector on Leopard
  • Disable mipmapped render textures on GeForce 8600 in Leopard as well as Tiger (driver bug that leaks memory is not fixed yet)
  • Fix double click not launching asset editor on Leopard
  • Fixed some broken links in the documentation

Okay, thanks!

Any rough estimation when we’re going to see another bugfix release were things like the trailbug are going to be fixed?

We’re preparing 2.0.2 with other fixes. We just wanted to get Leopard-fixes-only release as soon as possible.

I don’t know what you call “the trailbug” though (a bug report case number would be more informative).

Okay, i understand. I’ve once sent it to Joachim and David and it would be important to get this fixed with the next release, hopefully not this late.

Wow… It`s 2016 now.

@hippocoder !!! i summon you !!!

Your wish is my command.
