So Unity 2.5 is out, but how the heck can I get it??? I have Unity Version 2.0.1 and I want to upgrade to 2.5 but how how how???

That’s just the trial, right?
The trial is the same thing as any other version.

Yes. There is only one download for Unity. The “trial” only means you haven’t put in a valid serial number yet. If you have, then it’s not a trial.

It is free for all 2.x owners. So just download and install. All 2.x versions will be valid with your serial #, it should just update and not ask for a serial again either.
You know. I can’t remember if anyone at UT said they’d make a change on this, but…
This got me the first time I upgraded, too. (and maybe even the second time?)
It really is confusing the way it’s set up. I mean, the button says “unity trial version.” Why would I get my upgrade or full version there? In fact, it sounds dangerous like I might negate my purchase or something, or at least have to download the whole thing again or deal with dual installations.
How about fixing this? IMO, it’s broken.
