Hi,
i just used a simple Lightwave 9.6 object with 2 UVs in Unity 2.5 (Windows version) and it seems to work.
I used the Layout export plugin in the Utilities tab with the fbx 200900 version.
So maybe someone else jump in and test it too?
I will make some more tests now.
I believe that it is not enough for you to define the UVs, but you actually have to assign a material to them in LW before export. I know that Unity can import a FBX with 2 UVs without a problem, so the issue is on the LW export end.

The problem is that although i can assign more then one UV/material in Lightwave the FBX exporter does not export the second UV.
I thought that with the new FBX plugin Valkyre for Lightwave 9.6 and the optimized FBX import from Unity 2.5 it will work.
But i will not.
Btw. i am using Lightwave for many years.
I believe the Valkrie plug in appears in the “Export” menu, not the Utilities menu. Although it doesn’t for me … I wrote support and posted in the forum, and no one answered me

I heared that rom need a little motivation, so Lightwavers that also use Unity please motivate rom so that he finish the scripts.
Post in his threads if you want the scripts, please.
Until now he has not decided if the scripts will cost something or give it for free.
