We’ve just found that the latest version of the plugin 3.1.0f4 crashes Mac safari if the plugin already exists and 2.6 content is loaded.
The solution is to completely remove the plugin from Macintosh HD/Library/Internet plug-ins, restart safari and re-install the plugin.
