Unity 2017.1.0f3 Unity opening problem on licence step after sign in.

Hello,

Unity is stuck on opening license step after sign in. After that, I tried to open Unity with my same account on my other laptop. It is stuck again. I got same problem from my two laptops at the same time. Windows 10 and Windows 7 os. I used same accounts.

  • Deleted ‘Program Data’ folder,
  • Cleaned Regedit Unity entries
  • Deleted Unity folders from ‘Local’, ‘LocalLow’, ‘Roaming’
  • Installed 2017.1.0f3 again.
  • Clean Installed 2017.4.1f1 to open it but same problem appears.

I finally figured out to open Unity v2017.4.1f1.

  • Do clean install Unity.
  • Disconnect internet.
  • Open Unity
  • ->Manual Activation<-
  • ->Save License Request<- to C:\ProgramData\Unity.
  • ->Cancel<-
  • Connect internet and wait for response of Unity login window.
  • Login to Unity.
  • Create new License and Start your project.

So glad I didn’t buy pro. Can’t even open the damn software. How is this still an issue years later!

Same to me. I’ve tried several stuff and spend hours just to get the ide open. But every time i stuck in the login/licensing-process. It’s a mess.
