Unity 2017.3.0f3 Collision not detected (bug?)

I’m a Unity beginner and I followed along with a pong tutorial just up until the ball is bouncing around in the game world box.

I thought that was pretty cool, far too cool, and I let it bounce for a long while as I looked at other resources. Then, to my shock, the ball broke out of the box.

Either the bounding boxes have some kind of gap or there was an issue with the collision detection. What should I do to figure out which it was?

Here is a screen shot of the 4 walls that make up the play area (minus the missing ball).

Try to change collision detection to continuous in the balls rigidbody. I think the ball was just to quick.

Ahh okay, thank you. I’ll try this out in a couple hours. I was about to report back that further experiments had shown that faster balls broke through the wall.
