Unity (2017.3.0f3) won't start

i updated to the latest version on 3/25/18 and i haven’t been able to work in unity since. I start it up and it says “Starting server.” Afterwards, it crashes trying to load the package manager saying that i should check the editor log. I’ve tried restarting, working with various projects, starting a new project, reinstalling unity, and going back to the previous build of unity. I wasn’t sure if this was the place to ask, but here is the editor.log file:

I don’t know what happened but I finally got it working by deleting the unity folder within “C:…AppData/” and reinstalling without certain platform APIs and assets.
