I am trying to use 2018.4.22f1 LTS, as it’s supposed to be a stable, supported version of the editor. However, upon starting the editor, I can not log into the Asset Store to get to any of my purchased tools/kits. Clicking “My Assets” just makes a login popup appear, logging into that succeeds if I enter my credentials, but then the editor is simply back in the previous “not logged in” state.
Further inspection reveals that I am not logged in at all in the editor, and the account drop down menu is greyed out entirely, making login impossible. See attached image. In short, the LTS version behaves as if I have no internet connection, aside from loading the asset store page (and letting me browse but not use or purchase any products from the store, which is it’s own mess of a user experience for sure.) So for example, the “Unity Services” section where I would normally access “cloud storage” just says to login instead and is grey/locked.
What is wrong, and how can I fix this issue? Not having access to the latest LTS version is fatally crippling for working on any professional level work/jobs.
For the record, all 6 other installed versions of Unity Editor, such as the latest non-LTS version install and work just fine. In other versions, the login carries over from the Unity Hub as expected, and I can get to all my stuff without needing to log in again. They are all in the same Unity Hub default install locations. I even checked my firewall settings in Windows Defender, and everything called Unity Editor (Or in fact anything I saw that had Unity in the name) is already allowed through on both public and private networks.
