So I just downloaded Fungus and Unity 2018 because apparently I do not need to know coding to be able to make a great game which sounded too good to be true to me. So when I booted Unity up and created a new project with Fungus as an asset in the asset package page, I see no Tools bar and no indication that Fungus is on Unity.
Im not entirely sure what you mean by ‘a new project with Fungus as an asset in the asset package page’, but to ensure Fungus is in your project, you need to Download the Fungus package to your system, then Import the Fungus package into your project.
You can do both of these steps from the Asset Store window, either via the Fungus asset page, or the MyAssets tab of the Asset Store window.
Once youve done that, you should see a ‘Fungus’ and ‘FungusAssets’ directory in the Projects window of Unity. If they’re not there, it hasnt been imported properly.
Note : Fungus will throw up a couple of relatively inconsequential warnings on Unity 2018.3 and later, as the latest version its written for is 2018.2. Be aware that using ‘the latest version’ is not always the most compatible route for 3rd-party assets.
