Unity 2019.3.9f1 will not import animated characters correctly

I’m working on a project for school that involves using animated AI models. I got help from someone on a script that allowed the AI models to move and switch between their idle and walk animations. I had to download and start using 2019.3.9f1 instead of my original workspace (2019.2.2f1) because the script wouldn’t work on that version. Now I’m running into an issue where I’m importing folders with my animated models and their textures but the models no longer contain avatars in 2019.3.9f1. I imported the same models into 2019.2.2f1 and they have working avatars. I tried dragging working models from 2019.2.2f1 to 2019.3.9f1 but they lose the avatar. Did 2019.3.9f1 change the way avatars work?

What the f*ck did you do that something as simple as a movement script would require a new version of Unity?!

=> Try to reimport the stuff. No other way when they got corrupt
=> If only the avatars are the problem, you can create new ones in the importsettings of the model! ^^

Ended up fixing the problem myself, it was pretty simple. Rather than importing the models with the avatar already created, it made me create them myself. On each model I had to go to Rig → Avatar → Create from this model.
