How can we improve the lag time for every action in the editor? I select an object there’s a 0.5 second delay. I then try to drag that object around the scene view, another 0.5 second delay.

I am also having this issue, quite badly. It seems to get worse the longer the editor is open, or if it gets minimized or unfocused for any period of time. Scene navigation is also quite laggy, like it hangs every few moments. Going to try going back to 2020.1.1 and see if it helps.
Update: Nope, same issues.
Updating Aura 2 in the project has helped immensely, so I would suggest checking over various plugins and such. I am still getting an issue if I leave Unity sitting too long, like if I don’t close it before bed it is then very laggy in the morning, but a restart seems to take care of that. Hope that helps!
Good to hear it’s not just me… Yea I find if I leave it open after a while Unity also starts to lag out.
There must be some weird background processes going on. I caught Global Illumin running … but that didn’t stop the lagging.
Thanks for the advice on Aura2. I’ll update some of the old plug-ins and see if it helps. But am worried said plug-ins will do more damage too LOL… happened too many times to count.

good call on Aura2 update… 2020.1.2 is MUCH faster after updating.
