Hi, it’s likely an engine bug, but 2020.3 is no longer supported, so we aren’t able to fix it, unless it’s also reproducible on one of our currently supported versions (2021.3 and newer)

We encountered a similar issue in version 2020.3.38f1
Most likely it can’t easily be avoided unless you upgrade or stop using particles.
There is likely something about your setup that makes it happen, because it didn’t affect most people, but, I’ve no idea what that ‘something’ might be.
