Unity 3.4 and the disappearing scene

So,

Last night before coming into work I had my scene open and ready to go for our meeting today. I saved it, shut down Unity, played some Scrabble, then went to bed. I got up this morning grabbed my gear and came in to work. When I opened up Unity I was prompted to download the new version. After doing so and opening Unity back up, my entire scene was gone! Just gone. Nothing left in the Hierarchy. A few things missing from the Project view. What the heck? Anyone else have any problems with the update? HELP :shock:

did you try to double click on your saved scene… it should bring it all back

(I guess you do have your scene saved in the project window somewhere)

I did try to double click, of course. The scene was never restored. Even the scene and project folders/icons are empty.
