Unity 3.5 to 4.0 change turtorial?

I just noticed that the free unity was upgraded to 4.0 rather than the 3.5 one they had so I thought is there anywhere that shows the difference between 3.5 and 4.0?

Like a tutorial to teach people what changed? Rather than a change log.

If not something to think about making to help people moving over from 3.5 to 4.0.

If you want to move over then just click the nice big download button, and run it. It is advised to back up your project though.

Not to be mean but if you need your hand held that much you are better off not upgrading in the first place

Or it means that not everyone is such a good developer that everything new or different in a new version would be obvious to them. We have artists, new programers, and hobbyists using unity and new people learning it from scratch like myself so when a new version comes out asking for the more experienced people to explain new features and changes if they are interested in doing so is normal would help a lot of people.

I’m with @Darkjayson. I’m only a hobbyist that dabbles. I upgraded my iOS license hoping to try Unity 4 earlier, but they only were allowing Pro licenses a beta preview. (But that’s off topic!)

I would like a posting outlining and describing the major (and minor perhaps) changes, and optionally with a link for further details (like the Unity documentation page).

I haven’t done any of my 2D work (sprites, or GUI) yet as I heard 4.0 was to have better GUI and sprite tools. Or maybe it doesn’t.

Upgrading isn’t really a problem for my project, as my game isn’t anywhere near completion.
