unity 3 disable lighting shader

I cannot disable lighting on my shader. I wrote a custom lighting function which is:

inline half4 LightingnoLights_PrePass (SurfaceOutput s, half4 light){

		half4 c;
		c.rgb = s.Albedo;
		c.a = s.Alpha;
		return c;

}

And I call it in my shader:

		CGPROGRAM
		#pragma surface surf noLights vertex:vert

But I still get vertex lighting on my object.

How do I disable Lighting?

Thanks

don’t use the integrated vertex pipeline shader if you want to override its behavior.
what you replace there is the pixel side which won’t impact vertices.

If you don’t want lighting, do not use surface shaders. Surface shaders are for things that need to interact with lights.

If you don’t need lights at all - just write a vertex+fragment program, or fixed function shader. It will work faster as well!

Ok, I made a custom vert and frag to get what I was after.

And I have to say, I love the new shader format, I’ve written four shaders so far with this new format, having not written any prior shaders. It definitely makes it easier. Nice work Aras!

Thanks!
